Groves Nurseries in Bridport have just held their first charity auction raising over £1,300 for the children’s hospice charity Julia’s House. Over 40 lots were on offer with Matthew Denney of Lawrences’ Auctioneers asking for bids as well as entertaining the crowd with some amusing banter and skilful auctioneering.
