Groves Nurseries in Bridport have just held their first charity auction raising over £1,300 for the children’s hospice charity Julia’s House. Over 40 lots were on offer with Matthew Denney of Lawrences’ Auctioneers asking for bids as well as entertaining the crowd with some amusing banter and skilful auctioneering. In just over an hour of fast bidding, the items were snapped up

Charlie Groves Managing Director of Groves commented “We were really taken aback by the fantastic response and generosity shown by our customers, suppliers and the West Dorset community.  I would just like to thank everybody who donated to this charity auction and who helped us raise so much money for a great cause.”
