Officers are issuing images of a safe that they have recovered after a man was arrested in connection with a number of commercial burglaries.

On Wednesday 28 February 2024 officers arrested a 47-year-old man from Wiltshire in connection with four reports of non-dwelling burglaries committed between Thursday 14 December 2023 and Wednesday 3 January 2024 in Swanage, Weymouth and Dorchester.

Police Constable Bryce Scott-Jones, of the Weymouth and Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “As part of our enquiries into these reported burglaries, we have made an arrest and also recovered a damaged safe that we believe may have been stolen.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises this safe or who has any information about where it may have come from.”
