Officers investigating the theft of a car near Blandford are issuing a photo of the vehicle.

The blue Volkswagen Golf R, with the registration number FA57 JER, was stolen from an address in Charlton Marshall between 11am and 1.30pm on Sunday 18 November 2018.

Enquiries by police suggest the vehicle, which has a full panoramic roof, is believed to have been in the Warminster area of Wiltshire later that same day.

Inspector Simon Perry, of North Dorset police, said: “The victim has given his consent for this image of the vehicle to be released in the hope that someone might have seen the car since it was stolen on Sunday.

“I would urge anyone who sees this vehicle or who has any information about the theft to contact us.”
