Police Investigation Following Series of Burglaries in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a series of burglaries in Poole.

Between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday 21 June 2025 two burglaries were reported to have occurred at residential properties in Ivy Road, which are believed to be linked.

Entry was forced to both properties, but fortunately no items were stolen.

Police Constable Thomas Llewellyn, of Poole police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this burglary series and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time the incidents occurred.

“I am also keen to hear from motorists driving in the area at the time with dashcams fitted, as well as any local residents with doorbell or home CCTV cameras, who may have captured any footage of relevance to my investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250090600. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
