Officers searching for a missing teenager from Weymouth are appealing for information from the public.

Laila Frank-Gore, aged 15, was reported missing having left her address in Wyke Regis at around 4pm on Friday 14 July 2023.

She is described as being of slight build with long mousey blonde hair and was wearing a black hooded top with Mickey Mouse on the front and a white hooded jacket with images of the Rug Rats, as well as light blue jeans and white trainers.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “While we have no information to indicate Laila has come to any harm, she has been away from home for a number of days now which is out of character for her, and we are concerned for her welfare.

“From our enquiries, we believe she may have been travelling on the train network between Weymouth and London with other teenagers on the afternoon of Sunday 16 July 2023.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Laila’s whereabouts to please contact us.

“I also want to make a direct plea to Laila if you see this – please get in touch with us or your family and let us know where you are. We just want to make sure that you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Laila’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55230110128.
