After losing 2 of their strong midfielders for different reasons Poole Ladies Team looked to be on shaky ground at the turn of the year. And, given these circumstances, the ladies were pleased with their performance (if not the result) in their 0-3 reverse to league leadersSalisbury.
Izzy Cooper made her debut for the girls the following week in the 2-2 draw away to Yeovil & Sherborne in a match where the goals they conceded were lucky. But Captain Lauren Talbot wasn’t too disappointed commenting
“The score reflects the game and there was fantastic linking play with Izzy Cooper making her ladies debut. Let’s hope February will hold some good games.”
