After finishing top and bottom in their last two competitions, no-one really knew what to expect from the Under 12s in their latest festival at Swanage. A terrific 2-0 win over Wimborne in their opening match set the scene for the day, the goals coming from Edward Bray and Jack Evetts. Next up was the hosts Swanage and a real test, resulted in a 0-1 defeat. Bray netted again in the next match against Gillingham B to record a 1-0 victory and a point in a 0-0 against Gillingham A mean that Poole finished top of the group on goal difference; one better than hosts Swanage.
