Officers are appealing for information from the public as they carry out enquiries to locate a wanted man from Poole.
Philip Martin Bright, aged 49, is wanted in connection with an alleged assault that occurred in the Hamworthy area on Friday 6 December 2024.
He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall and of medium build with brown hair.
Detective Inspector Chris Bradford, of BCP CID, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Philip Bright, but these have so far proved unsuccessful, and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us.
“While there is no information to suggest Bright presents a risk to the general public, we would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him, but to instead dial 999 immediately.”
