Come celebrate all things green and local at Poole Park this weekend, as the Green Community Fair returns with another of its family-friendly fun days!

With everything from face painting, craft workshops, an incredible line-up of local musicians on a solar-powered stage, dream-catcher making, therapeutic massage, the “Paper Butterfly” community art project to junk modelling, the Green Community Fair is a great day out for all the family.

Other attractions include pre-loved and up-cycled furniture from Dorset Reclaim, massage, complementary therapies, air-brushed temporary tattoos

– even dance workshops for babies and their parents!

You can even do your bit for the planet by recycling your old mobile phone at the AOK Rucksack Appeal stand and enter their prize draw for high tea at the Langtree hotel in Bournemouth.

Organiser Samantha Monks says: “This is our eleventh Green Community Fair to date, and it’s set to be our best yet – there’ll be charities and local community and voluntary groups, ethical and environmental traders, talks and demonstrations, a natural and holistic healing therapies area, solar powered entertainment, arts and crafts workshops using recycled materials and live music and performances throughout the day. And it’s all free. I can’t wait!”

The Green Community Fair take place at Poole Park on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2015 between 10.00am and 5.00pm on both days. For more information please call Sam on 07954 698666 or email [email protected]
