Jurassic Rocks, the music festival held on the Isle of Portland has rescheduled from July to 21st, 22nd & 23rd August. Jurassic Rocks organisers took the difficult decision after looking at the advance ticket sales and requests from bands that wanted to play the festival. The new dates allow the festival to now run over 3 days rather than 2 and to accommodate all the bands. All current tickets are still valid for the new dates and now give 3 days for the price of 2. Full refunds are available for anyone not able to make the new dates.

The revised dates now offer 3 days of great bands and festival fun, with C Sharp Blues headlining Friday night, RatRace headlining Saturday and The Leylines headlining the Sunday line up. All the other elements of the festival are still there, free camping, parking along with all the usual food, beer and cider outlets. There are a limited number of tickets left for the revised dates, tickets are available from www.jurassicrocks.co.uk. Full ticket refunds are available to anyone not able to make the revised scheduled dates, email the festival at [email protected] with ticket number and the festival will arrange for a refund.

Glenn Chadwick, Festival organiser says: “Logistically we had to move back the event to accommodate the number of bands who wanted to play the festival. We thought long and hard about moving the dates but we want this festival to be the best it can be and with 25 bands playing over 3 days it will be. I also completely understand that this decision will make it difficult for some ticket holders to attend, full refunds are available to these people who can’t make the new dates all they have to do is email us at [email protected] with their ticket numbers and we will do the rest.”

Glenn continues: “With over 25 bands wanting to play the best thing we could do was to run the festival over 3 days and the only time we could do this was 21st, 22nd & 23rd August. We now have C Sharp Blues headlining Friday, RatRace headlining Saturday and The Leylines headlining Sunday.”
