Public appeal in search for missing Bournemouth man

Officers who were searching for missing Alex Kelly from Bournemouth are pleased to be able to update that he has been found safe in the Suffolk area.

Alex had been reported missing as he had not been seen since Thursday 2 May 2019.

We would like to thank everyone for sharing the appeal.

 

Officers are appealing for help from the public as they search for a man who went missing from Bournemouth.

Alex Kelly, also known as Alex Barton, was last seen at his accommodation in Bath Road some time around Thursday 2 May 2019.

The 27-year-old has not been seen or heard from since and officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to locate him and ensure he is safe and well.

Alex is described as white, around five feet six inches tall and of very slim build with white hair.

Chief Inspector Lance Cliff, of Dorset Police, said: “Alex has required extensive medical treatment recently and we are concerned for his welfare.

“We are continuing to make enquiries in our effort to locate him and I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact us.

“I would also appeal directly to Alex if you see this to make contact with us as we just want to make sure that you are safe and well.”
