Officers searching for a missing woman from Christchurch are renewing their appeal for help from the public to find her – with new images being issued.

Sarah Moore, aged 54, was last seen at her home address in Fairmile Road at around 9pm on Monday 9 December 2019. It is not known when she left the address, but she was not there at 8.30am on Wednesday 11 December 2019.

Sarah is described as white, five feet six inches tall and of very slim build with medium length wavy dark brown hair and brown eyes. She usually wears glasses and has a tattoo of two bluebirds on her wrist. It is believed she may be wearing a long green coat.

Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “Officers have made extensive enquiries in an effort to find Sarah. We are searching the area assisted by the NPAS helicopter and volunteers from Dorset Search & Rescue and Wessex 4×4 Response. Unfortunately, we have so far been unable to find her.

“Sarah is understood to have been upset recently and we are very concerned for her welfare. It is believed that she left her address on foot and without her mobile phone.

“We are very much in need of the public’s help as we have not been able to establish where Sarah might have gone.

“I would urge anyone with information about Sarah’s whereabouts, or who has seen a woman matching the description given since the evening of Monday 9 December, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Sarah if you see this appeal to contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Sarah’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 11:85.
