Public appeal in search for missing Poole man

Officers searching for missing Poole man Anthony Woodroofe are pleased to confirm that he has been located.

Anthony, aged 19, was reported missing having last been seen at his home address at around 6pm on Thursday 14 February 2019.

He has now been located in the Poole area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

 

Officers are appealing for help from the public in their search to find a young man who has gone missing in Poole.

Anthony Woodroofe, also known as Anthony Rosser, was last seen at his address in Lulworth Close in Hamworthy at around 6pm today, Thursday 14 February 2019.

The 19-year-old is described as white, six feet tall and of slim build with short brown hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a black tracksuit top and bottoms with a ‘Starky’ logo on.

Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “Anthony is believed to have been very upset recently and we are determined to locate him as soon as possible.

“We are carrying out searches in the Poole area and I am appealing to anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a young man matching his description, to contact police immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct plea to Anthony if you see this appeal to make contact with us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”
