Officers searching for a teenager who went missing from Poole are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Baryalai Amini, aged 16, was last seen in Hill Street on Saturday 21 December 2019.

The teenager from Afghanistan is described as of medium build and around five feet seven inches tall.

Inspector Jessica Pearcey, of Dorset Police, said: “We have no information to suggest Baryalai has come to harm, but he has not been seen for several days now and we want to ensure he is safe and well.

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries in our efforts to locate him and I am appealing to anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts to please contact us.

“I would also appeal directly to Baryalai to make contact with us as we want to ensure you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Baryalai’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190200227.
