Racists Sought Following Hate Crime in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a racially aggravated public order incident in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.

It was reported that between 5.40pm and 5.50pm on Saturday, 30 November 2024, a woman was racially abused whilst travelling on the number five Morebus through the Ensbury Park area.

Police Constable David Wilcox, of Dorset Police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have been exploring all lines of enquiry in relation to this incident.

“We are now in a position to release CCTV images of a man we are looking to identify as part of our enquiries and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
