Tories UK wide in total 13.5 million votes.

Other parties, supporting at least second referendum, Labour, SNP, Lib Dems, Greens,15.5 million votes.

In other words, if we had a proportionate voting system numbers of seats won, reflecting the support of the British people, would be a very different result.

So what next? Scotland independence – Northern Ireland unrest and worse. DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds has lost his seat to Sinn Fein. Eighteen months ago that would have been inconceivable. But then Northern Ireland voted to Remain …. and of course Scotland voted to remain.

And to note the £ has risen significantly. Meaning world wide speculators could not be more pleased with a hard right wing government in UK. Expect far more of this, UK based world-wide wealth speculation, offshore tax havens thriving, more loot and plunder foreign oligarchs, and so on.

And far closer ties with Trump’s extremist US. No doubt Boris will fall in love with Donald – if not so already. As Blair fell in love with Gerorge W – sharing the same toothpaste, and God – and on that bombed Iraq back to Middle Ages.

And Johnson’s promises – for NHS and and public services – they will melt as the sun rises. As if right wing Tories have a grain of concern for well-being of British families at the lower end of the pecking order.

And BREXIT – the country is as riven as ever : 13.5 million voted for pro Brexit Tories, 15.5 million voted for parties offering at the very least a second referendum.

But then Johnson and crew did the best slogans and the best “Get it Done” cartoon adverts didn’t they – Johnson on JCB crashing through a wall : “Get it Done”.

And what is that but simplistic cartoon propaganda. And so it is we end with a tabloid leader leading a tabloid nation ….
