The revelations from the inquest into the death of PC Keith Palmer have been appalling and can’t go without comment.

A split second-decision on a single day now looks as if it will define the whole career of a chief police officer: Sir Craig Mackey. Had he chosen differently & along with others attempted, albeit in vain to save a human life, he would be retiring in December as a hero.
