In today’s Guardian newspaper south Dorset MP has accused government ministers of being ‘almost Orwellian’. Attempts to acquire information from the government and coastguard agency head Sir Alan Massey concerning a discussion of the scheme to privatise the coastguard have been met with a government imposed gag.
