Officers investigating a road rage incident in Bournemouth town centre are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Thursday 31 October 2019 when a bus driver indicated to pull out of a bus stop before the County Gates roundabout.

He waited for a few cars to pass and then started to pull out.

A dark-coloured BMW tried to go around the bus, despite it already beginning its manoeuvre, and pulled alongside the driver’s window and shouted abuse.

The BMW continued to follow the bus along the road before pulling out in front of it and blocking the road.

The driver got out of the BMW and pressed the emergency button to get on to the bus. He shouted abuse at the bus driver before leaving and driving off in his car.

Police Community Support Investigator Jared Sharman, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation I have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect and I am appealing to anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
