Officers are searching for a man who has gone missing in Poole and would like the public’s help in trying to find him.

Owen Lavelle, who is 30 years old, was reported missing at 9.25am on Sunday 29 December 2019 after having last been seen during the night riding away from an address in Baverstock Road on a black bicycle.

He is described as white with dark hair and is wearing jeans, trainers and a navy blue coat.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “Owen has been very upset recently and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I am hoping that somebody might have seen him today or his bicycle, which has a distinct rubber band drive instead of a chain.

“Owen if you see this appeal, please get in touch with your family or us as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Owen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 29:111.
