Officers continuing to investigate an assault in Poole town centre that left a man with serious injuries are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred outside Munchies in Orchard Plaza at around 9.30pm on Friday 30 April 2021. The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was reportedly approached by a group of men and one of them punched him to the face.

He suffered a fracture to his eye socket as a result of the assault.

The offender is described as white and was wearing a black Puffa-style jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

Detective Constable Jo Poultney, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and from our enquiries we believe there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident.

“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or anyone who has information that might assist our investigation, to please get in touch.”
