Join us a day of heart-felt singing as we explore a rich variety of song: from American bluegrass, gospel, Appalachian ballads, shape note songs, to Brendan’s own wonderful compositions and arrangements. With a masters degree in Irish music and extensive knowledge of the music of Zimbabwe, Brendan will give you the chance to sing songs with compelling rhythms and evocative harmonies that come from community-based traditions that draw people together around the world.

Brendan is a charismatic leader, known for his dynamic conducting, and his gift for bringing out everyone’s talents.

All parts will be taught by ear and no experience is
necessary. This workshop is open to all.
