One of Bournemouth’s busiest commuter routes, Cemetery Junction, has been targeted as part of the Council’s £1million Smart Streets programme.
This week railings at the site have been cleaned and re-painted as part of the Council’s investment to improve the street scene across Bournemouth.
Over the coming weeks and monthspainting teams will be hard at work continuing to spruce up areas across the borough and cleaning all road signage as they go.
Councillor Michael Filer, Cabinet Member for Transport, Cleansing and Waste, said:“The town is being steadily transformed and I’m delighted at the marvellous work that is being done. Our £1million Smart Streets programme is taking shape in a very visible way so that we can all appreciate the wonderful improvements that make Bournemouth a much more pleasant place to live, work and visit.”
