Local consumer champion Healthwatch Dorset invites you to “Spotlight on Healthwatch Dorset”, July 13, 6pm at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester.
You will be able to meet and chat with Healthwatch Dorset board members, staff and volunteers. Be the first to get a copy of our new Annual Report, “Spotlight” and see some of the artwork, poetry, blogs & vlogs we’ve had from young people as part of our art project “Be Yourself: Everybody Else Is Taken”. Find out how we’ve been influencing local health and care services and discover more about our award winning Community Investment Projects, in which we’re working with 14 voluntary and community groups across the county.
Chair of Healthwatch Dorset, Joyce Guest, explains: “This event will be a celebration of our work over the past year. It’s a chance to meet up with some of the groups who are developing our community projects & see some of the amazing creative feedback we’ve gathered from children & young people in our Be Yourself campaign. We’ll also be using this event to look ahead to see how we can make sure that local people’s views and experiences really influence the future shape of Dorset’s health and care services.
