St Edward’s School, Poole, are hosting a Christmas Fayre on Saturday 23rd November to raise funds for the improvement of school facilities

The Christmas Fayre, which will be held in the school grounds of St Edward’s, will take place from 11:00am till 3:00pm. Students, staff, family and friends will have the chance to indulge themselves in an abundance of refreshments and hot food. Some of these treats will include Christmas classic mince pies and mulled wine for the adults.

St Edward’s have been hosting their Christmas Fayre for the last three years and since then, the event has been growing in both size and popularity. The Poole based school hope that the money raised will help to further improve learning facilities for the students.

Apart from the food and drink on offer which includes outside catering, there will be a plethora of activities to take part in, ranging from face painting to carol singing. There will be over 50 Stallholders too, selling a variety of products such as crafts and gifts, books and toys, jewellery and cards. Classic cars will also be making an appearance.

Dorset Troopers, one of the leading Star Wars costume groups, will be in attendance at the Christmas Fayre dressed in screen-accurate costumes.

Michael Antram, Headteacher of St Edward’s School, said:

“Christmas is a special time of year and our Fayre is a wonderful opportunity for the school community to gather with friends, neighbours and visitors to prepare for the festive season ahead. We hope to see lots of people here to celebrate with us!”

Admission to The Christmas Fayre will be £2.50 for adults, £1 for students, with under 10s able to enter free of charge. There will be a free complimentary drink upon arrival with every ticket that is purchased. For stall bookings, contact Juliette on [email protected].
