Detectives investigating a robbery on Bournemouth seafront are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.

Dorset Police received a report at 7.05am on Tuesday 14 September 2021 of a robbery on the promenade between Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier. A quantity of cash was stolen.

During the incident, the victim was stabbed and sustained lacerations to his hands. He was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Detective Constable Ian Caddy, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this robbery and are now in a position to release an image of a man we would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
