Prime Minister.
One of Britain’s greatest statesmen has passed away, and I was interested to note your comment: “”There was never a dull moment listening to him, even when you disagreed with every word he said.” Tony Benn stood for fairness and the idea that those who wield power, and the powerful, should be fully accountable to the public. But you “disagreed with every word he said.” Thank you for confirming what needed to be confirmed in your own words, Prime Minister – that you have no intention of being accountable to the electorate.
You deny acting as a bully in the Scottish Independence debate, yet bullying is the only means of gaining co-operation of which you are capable. With you, it is the ingrained behaviour of an inbred pillock. You have proved that time and time again by your failure to stop the welfare reform programme that has caused so many unnecessary and untimely deaths among the disabled and seriously ill communities. You haven’t even been bothered to attend any of the debates on the issue that are taking up more and more of the House’s time. I’ve seen snooker balls perform less accomplished cannons than you when it comes to bouncing away at a tangent from your responsibilities.
If we needed any further proof of your bullying manner, now we see that bailiffs are also set to make benefits claimants’ lives an even bigger misery. I notice there is no mention of bailiffs being called to deal with those MP’s who fiddle their expenses though, or to Lords who sign in for half an hour so they can pick up their £300 daily allowance. That would be way too much to expect in your Broken Britain, wouldn’t it?
Further still, Russia has blocked its opposition leader from writing in his blog. You introduced the Gagging Law. Both are the acts of spineless cowards who have no reasonable answers for those who question their behaviour.
And what can we expect you to do about the shredding of Bank of England records? Hmm? UK law states that ALL financial records are required to be kept for a minimum of seven years. The Bank of England – a private enterprise, remember – has now broken this law. What do you propose to do about it, Prime Minister? Pick on a few more old ladies whose memories aren’t what they used to be, leading to genuinely accidental over-claims for benefits on their part, while the powerful and non-accountable banksters walk away Scott free from what is without question a real and deliberate crime? I should take up a job as a fortune teller because it’s so bloody easy to see who you’ll choose to protect and who you’ll stomp on without a second thought. Just like all yellow-bellied bullies, you’ll continue to pick on those who can’t fight back. It’s your nature. It will be proved when you permit your Chancellor to continue to withdraw legally due monies from the vulnerable in order to cover up his failure to get the economy working properly again.
As Osborne said: The government cannot rely upon domestic consumers to pull us out of the hole this time; it will be necessary to rely more upon exports. January’s exports are down, as predicted. Osborne will have to find his savings elsewhere and you will, without any doubt at all on my part, permit him to extend the poverty into which his austerity programme – which is what has harmed those export figures – has plunged millions of people. Just like that arrogant bitch, Thatcher, though, you will not be told, will you? Yet again you show yourself up for the self-centred, ego-constipated fool that you are.
We lost a true statesman today with the death of Tony Benn. When you are kicked out on 2015 we will not have lost another one.
Sincerely,
Darren Lynch
