I have never watched I’m An Absolute Twat Please Poison Me and I never intend to. For me, it represents torture, not entertainment. If they let loose velociraptors and we could engage in the final moments of people whose contribution to the planet is not merely partial but nonexistent, I may be tempted. However, while it is a playground for the most intellectually vacuous, talentless, and mostly puerile excuses for humanity, it is an easy miss.

Therefore, when someone trends because they can express my current position so eloquently, I am thankful that decent people are elated and the walking dead are self-combusting. Stewart Lee makes anyone with functioning cerebello-parietal and frontal components proud.

The rest of Lee’s article in the Guardian can be found here for the delectation of those who celebrate not being what is becoming known as ‘fashionably simple’.
