Officers investigating two alleged assaults in Swanage are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward – with one man arrested.

Both incidents occurred on Monday 26 June 2023 outside St Mark’s CE Primary School in High Street.

The first reported assault on a woman took place at around 8.15am, with a further incident where a boy was allegedly assaulted at around 3pm.

No one sustained any injuries during the incidents.

A 43-year-old man from Swanage has been arrested on suspicion of assault. The arrested man is known to both victims.

Police Constable Mia-Isabella Bowditch, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either incident to please get in touch as you may have information to help my investigation.”
