Weymouth’s award winning Indian restaurant Shalims Balti House, sees the return of their every popular Thali Nights each and every Wednesday until 28th March. A new addition to this years menu is Pani Puri an authentic Indian street food served like papadoms and pickles.

Thali is named after the dish in which it is traditionally served (usually a metal platter with small, fitted bowls known as katori). It is a perfectly balanced meal and gives you the opportunity to taste many Indian dishes at the one sitting.

Thali is a selection of six different and unique dishes (meat or vegetarian option) served with rice and nan bread. No two weeks will be the same.

Shalim says “Thali is traditionally how many people in India eat at home. So I wanted to bring a bit authenticity of Indian dining to our restaurant. Thali’s will give an opportunity for anyone who always sticks to the same curries when they order to try something new and different in small portions.”
