The Conservative Party: It’s the party that aspirational bigots aspire to

Let’s face the facts. The Tories don’t change. As a kid aged around 10-12 I used to pick up my parent’s Daily Mail when on the loo (yes I read on the loo) and was, even then, disgusted by the rhetoric and narrative presented. I knew that this was (and is) the flagship Tory newspaper. Tories will never change.

I am 47 years old, and I hate them more now than I did then. I knew they would never change, and they won’t. It will always be a party that harbours homophobes, racists and bigots. End of story. It’s the party that aspirational bigots aspire to.
