Our manager has been informed of this situation where a customer said they had ordered a drink and paid a certain price then ordered again and the price had gone up. We take this matter very seriously as we want all our customers to be satisfied with the service we provide. After looking into this and speaking with a member of staff, we have a good understanding of what has happened.

The customer had indeed ordered the same drink from the bar, a vodka and coke, the member of staff serving the drink had accidentally keyed in the wrong price on the till, as he gave the customer their change he noticed the problem straight away and notified the customer of his mistake and returned to the till to give them the difference back.

We are very sorry that this customer left The Golden Lion unhappy and hope that they will be returning this weekend to watch The Dolmen once again.
