The people are speaking. Starmer… is the problem

Can I just remind everyone… as well as breaking Labour Party rules, rejecting NEC unanimous disciplinary decisions (Starmer’s lot chose the panel and it was MINORITY Left, yet all 5 voted in favour of Corbyn), breaking PLP standing orders, EHRC rules, lying to the media about what Jeremy said, not following due processes, Keir Starmer- the human rights lawyer?! (yeah, I know…) was also part of the attempted coup against Jeremy Corbyn in 2016.

He spectacularly failed then, as he is now. On both occasions the losers in all this are the British people suffering at the hands of this fatally incompetent Tory government, our Jewish comrades who are disgracefully being put in an awful position and used as a political football by those at the top of UK Labour, our Muslim, Black, Kashmiri, Trans, Disabled and minority members who are distraught and leaving in their droves because of Starmer & the culture he has brought to the Labour Party (Labour got record voter support from minorities in 2019 GE, now Labour cannot even say on record whether Trump is racist & our Shadow Foreign secretary praises Biden for supporting THATCHER’S Falklands ‘war’?!).

I repeat, and will never tire of doing so: all of this is completely unnecessary & entirely self-inflicted. No amount of BS spin or media mates being equally racist and enabling, is hiding this. What a complete and utter disaster. Do not let them spin this as anything other than their fault. The UK public needs us to stay strong and fight these injustices. It is beyond Corbyn. It is beyond Labour. It is about defending each other and calling out those who wish to divide us-no matter what they throw at us, or how powerful they are.

Do not give in to their narrative-always proudly challenge the lies and PR spin. Because if we don’t, who will? Then all of this becomes ‘normalised’. Then those worst affected are again our Jewish, Muslim, Black, Kashmiri, Trans, Disabled comrades AND everyone else in general.

This is the man we could have had

Clwyd South CLP just passed the following motion in support and solidarity with Jeremy Corbyn. It passed easily and was almost unanimous:

“To Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner, Nick Brown (Chief Whip) and NEC This CLP notes with concern the decision taken by the Leader of the Labour Party not to restore the Party whip to its former leader Jeremy Corbyn. Jeremy Corbyn was reinstated as a member of the Labour Party on 17th November and we believe the Labour whip must also be restored. We call on Keir Starmer to review this decision immediately and restore the whip to Jeremy Corbyn.”

Please note that is was members from all ‘sides/factions’ who supported this. It was absolutely not just the left. People were furious and very, very critical of the leadership.

And now this:

The Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union is going to hold a consultation meeting on whether to disaffiliate from the Labour Party directly because of Keir Starmer’s ‘Leadership’. Less than a year ealier Keir Starmer was posting videos praising the work of BFAWU and the McStrike. Photos at their picket lines also featured in his campaign materials. Now they’re considering leaving the party because of his leadership:

“Keir Starmer’s… idea of bringing people together seems to have amounted to nothing more than deliberate, vindictive and divisive attacks on those regarded as being on the ‘socialist’ side of the Party.” https://www.bfawu.org/who_exactly_are_labour_representing

Stay strong and do not be intimidated. Defend social justice, and most importantly, defend each other.

Love & Solidarity.
