Police on Portland are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after three metal thefts.

 The thefts occurred overnight between Sunday 21 February and Monday 22 February 2016.

Three incidents happened at a building site on Park Road, Portland Borstal Officers Bowling Club in The Grove and Cove Holiday Park on Pennsylvania Road.

Police Constable Neil Fitch, of Portland police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard suspicious activity in the area at the relevant times to contact me on 101.

“Anyone who has been offered lead or copper for sale cheaply should also call me.”

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 22:62. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
