It wasn’t the Edinburgh Festival but Prime Minister’s Question Time (Or ‘Avoid Answering the Question Time’) and the prime minister in all her faux feminism splendour came out with
“Can I thank the Right Honorable gentleman for telling me that it is International Women’s Day tomorrow. I think that’s what’s called mansplaining.”
Now as jokes go it is up there with getting your genitals caught in a zip but the Tories liked it if no one else did.
