A message to all the media commentariat, and those Labour Party officials, members & elected officials on the right of the Party…many of whom appeared in the horrific allegations in the leaked report, many of whom said just before the December 2019 General Election “If only Labour had Jo Swinson as leader (Yes. Really. That is how shockingly out of touch these arrogant folk were/are)”…those that said “If Starmer (or anyone else they chose that day) was leading Labour, the Party would be twenty points ahead in the polls V this awful government” etc…well, even with more favourable Media (though still hostile), this. Even writing in The Times & The Daily Fail (a line I would not have crossed), this.
Now, *TBC* This is NOT a pop at Starmer, my Party or most members. Starmer must be given a chance, and given time. The point of this is to show how utterly deluded those listed at the start of this comment, are. And were. That they *still* do not understand why the policies poll majority-popular all the time, or why the media still plays a huge, decisive role…Those people are the political equivalent of a 6th tier football club, who think they are in the Premier League. Then wondering why they haven’t received the Premier League fixture list or TV money. Then thinking it is the fault of their loyal fans. Then trying to, allegedly, sabotage their own club & deny them promotion. Then defend each other for it. Then blame the loyal fans again. Oh, and speaking as a Remainer, and obviously there is nothing wrong with being a Remainer!, but if we added up our total percentage in the latest poll, with the Lib Dems and the Greens, we’d still be 13 points behind the Tories. Now, I don’t put much stock in polls, but they do; hence these images here….
