There’s less than two months to go to this year’s Peacock OPEN art exhibition at The Gallery Upstairs, Upton Country Park. Hand-in date for artworks is Wednesday 25th November 2015.

The theme of the OPEN is “Planet Art”. “ We are looking for the artist’s response to the state of our planet,” explained a spokesman for the organisers, Poole and East Dorset Art Society. “Climate Change is a big issue and as the OPEN opens, delegates from around the world will be assembling in Paris for the UN Climate Change conference.”

The project is open to any creative artist, living within 15 miles of Poole and work is welcome in any medium: painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, film or the written word.

If you haven’t already read about it, you can find all the information you need to take part at www.thegalleryupstairs.org.uk
