The BBC are reporting that according to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authorities List Tobias Ellwood Conservative MP for Bournemouth East and Government Minister failed to pay back £26.50 in expenses. The Commons expenses watchdog has also named 25 other current and former MPs who had debts of up to £500 written off after failing to pay them.
The total amount written off over the 12-month period was £2,105.43.
Meanwhile Ipsa said the overall bill for MPs’ expenses and costs rose to almost £106m in 2014-15.
This was an increase of £1.7m on the previous financial year.
It includes money claimed for staffing and office costs, travel and accommodation – but not MPs’ salaries.
