A man who was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Poole has very sadly died.
The collision, which was reported to police at 4.26pm on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A3049 Dorset Way prior to the Old Wareham Road roundabout. It involved a red Jeep Avenger and a black and blue motorbike.
The motorbike rider, a 24-year-old man from Poole, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Very sadly, he died in hospital on the evening of Saturday 1 November 2025. His family has been informed.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died following this collision.
“We owe it to them to conduct a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of this incident and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.”
