A fantastic new idea for Halloween during this Covid-19 pandemic.

We all shared rainbows in our windows to support our NHS and Carers, we could do the same with pumpkins, creating a pumpkin trail.

Children can then go on a pumpkin hunt in fancy dress around their local area, for every pumpkin they find the parents/carers put sweets/fruit… in their bag. As an alternative to sweets you could give stickers or count the pumpkins with a treat at the end.

Poole and Bournemouth are already getting the pumpkin rolling with the Facebook group below.

Crafty ideas

Invite family, friends and neighbours to take part and bring fun to local families with young children in our communities…. across half term week (Saturday 24th Oct – Saturday 31st Oct) up to Halloween on 31st October.
