Here is some feedback from people looking forward to this year’s event:

“Love this initiative. Try This … is a community run project which costs you absolutely nothing to take part in but your time. Taster sessions like this are wonderful for those who long to try something different but are not sure whether it is really what they want to do. There should be something to tempt and entice anyone, whatever your persuasion. And quite a bizarre mix if nothing else. Using environmental nappies, keeping chickens, wheelchair dancing, a laughter workshop – you can’t possibly read through the programme of events without something tickling your fancy. Ring bells, solve crosswords, bind books, read old handwriting, walk in Nordic fashion, beat your friends at Kings Cribbage – which I love – oh yes, it’s all there just waiting for you to pop your name down, have some fun and increase your own capabilities.” Anita Harries – Durnovaria Diaries

“I attended Try This … last year, and one of the sessions – Meditation: Introduction to Stillness – was so interesting, I arranged for the session leader to give a similar session where I work, during lunchtime. The feedback was very positive and the engineers really appreciated the chance to experience a moment of calm in their busy day.” Hazel Crofts

“I have participated in Try This …for the past two years and enjoyed different workshops/sessions on each occasion.  Although I do a crossword every day, I have never been able to get my head around cryptic crosswords so am looking forward to this session.” S.B.

‘Try This…. Dorchester’ would like to thank their funders for 2015 which include Dorchester Town Council, West Dorset District Council, Union Learn and Magna Housing.
