Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in Poole.

At approximately 10.25am on Wednesday 21 February 2024 a collision occurred involving a car and a pedestrian in the driveway of an address in Fitzworth Avenue.

Officers attended with the ambulance service and the pedestrian was taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.

Two men – aged in their 50s and 60s and from Poole – have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

Police Constable Joshua Alner, of the traffic unit, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances and I would ask members of the public who saw what happened and have not yet spoken to police to please come forward.

“I am also appealing to anyone in the community who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV or dashcam footage to please come forward.”
