Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward following an assault and criminal damage incident in Bournemouth.

At around 6pm on Wednesday 28 February 2024 two women were stationary in a car on Walton Road, near to then junction with Singleton Drive, when two men reportedly approached and smashed the rear windscreen and rear passenger side window.

They also opened the front passenger door and kicked one of the women, before the victims were able to drive away from the scene.

Both of the men were described as wearing balaclavas and one was reported to be wearing a black Trapstar jacket.

Police Constable Jake Grant-James, of Bournemouth police, said: “Fortunately neither of the female victims sustained any injuries as a result of this incident, but it must have been a very distressing experience for them.

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries into this matter and I am appealing for any witnesses or any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage to please come forward.”
