Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after an attempted burglary at a business in Blandford.

Dorset Police received a report at around 3.20am on Tuesday 30 May 2023 that the window and door glass had been smashed in Offcamber in Salisbury Street.

No entry was gained to the shop and nothing was stolen.

Two people dressed in black clothing were reportedly seen to cause the damage, before running away.

Police Constable Edward Lewis, of North Dorset police, said: “Officers attended and carried out searches of the area, however the offenders were not located.

“I am now appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.

“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage.”
