A sustainable travel blogger from North Dorset is through to the second round of the prestigious UK Blog Awards 2016.

The UK Blog Awards were created to recognise viral style and creative excellence across 16 UK industries, including Travel, with additional awards in two sub-categories: Best Storyteller and Most Innovative award.

The awards provide an opportunity to be acknowledged as a knowledge provider within your chosen industry.

Amanda Williams, from Blandford Forum, has been shortlisted in both the Travel and the Eco/Green category for her sustainable travel blog Amanda’s Wanderlust (www.amandaswanderlust.com).

Amanda said: “I’m really thrilled to have gone through to the public vote in the UK Blog Awards. It would be so exciting to make it to the finals, but there is a long way to go and the competition is extremely tough. All I need now is some votes!

The second phase of the process is a public vote. You can read Amanda’s entry and vote at: https://blogawardsuk.co.uk/ukba2016/my-entry/amandas-wanderlust.

The public vote is open from Monday 4 January 2016 until Monday 25 January 2016 at 9pm.

Votes can be cast directly from Amanda’s UKBA profile page by clicking on the ‘vote now’ button.

Voters have the option of voting for both categories at once by selecting ‘Travel + Green and Eco’ from the drop down box on the page. It only takes a few seconds to vote.
