We are delighted to say that Ed ‘Stewpot’ Stewart has today confirmed that he will be our Compere for Come in Pink 2016.
For those who are not ‘of our era’ Ed “Stewpot” Stewart is a British broadcaster. He is principally known for his work as a DJ on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and as a presenter for Top of the Pops and Crackerjack on BBC Television.

It’s only four weeks until World Cancer Day and Come in Pink 2016.

We raised over £2,500 last year and with your help we can raise £5,000 this year to share between MacMillan Cancer Care Dorset and Poole Hospital Cancer Treatment Trust Body Scanner Appeal. MacMillan Nurses are funded by Charitable Donations and provide invaluable Support to people diagnosed with Cancer. The MacMillan organisation provides support of various kinds not only to Cancer Patients, but also their families. Most people diagnosed with Cancer will need at least one MRI or CAT Scan. Scanners are extremely expensive and as with all technology, they are improving all the time.

You can help the fight against Cancer in Dorset. Come along and enjoy Polly Morris and her Band, Skylark Acoustic and The Goodfoot Band on the evening of Saturday 6 February at The Allendale Centre, Wimborne.

There is a Charity Auction including two six bottle cases of Chateau Angludet Fine Wine and a Four Ball Green Pass for Dorset Golf and Country Club. There is also a Raffle with some great prizes. Every penny of profit, which we hope to be £5,000 plus will be shared between the two Dorset Cancer Charities.

Tickets are £15.00 to include food and are available from The Allendale Centre, Guitar Mania in Ashley Road, Parkstone (Cash only) or from
