The audience are asked to give what they think the performance was worth at the end of the show.

Organiser, Angela Heron Watkins said “it allows local people to listen to quality live music by musicians they might not have heard before, under their terms. So far it’s been really successful; on average, we have been getting audiences of 80-100 people and they have all left with a smile on their faces. It’s an absolute pleasure for us to perform in this way.”

One of the characteristics of the band, which also features acclaimed singer, Lucy Watkins is that they perform music from all genres; folk, country, blues, and jazz will all be in there somewhere.

3-part vocal harmonies and the extraordinary musicianship of Simon Swarbrick on fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, as well as an informal and warm approach to their performance make the band a popular choice for an evening’s entertainment…just down the road.

‘The music was great and the atmosphere was so friendly and cosy.   This was the first time that we had seen and heard you all together – it was just superb and so tasteful.   The harmonies were great and Simon’s contribution was very exciting.   Overall, the thing that really came across to us was the joy you got from performing together – it was so lovely to experience that family feeling.’

‘Brilliant music, great humour and a lovely venue. Thank you’

“The night was memorable for many reasons; Ken’s humour! Simon’s amazing musical talents (Is there anything he can’t play?) Lucy’s lovely magical singing and the feel -good atmosphere on the stage was there for all to see that transmitted to the audience.”

“Wow, what a great evening you all gave us last night. The interesting combination of voice and instruments, the words and music of each song all the better for having heard some again, after your visit to Briantspuddle.  I am now savouring your CD.”

“The harmonies were great and Simon’s playing was mesmerizing”.
