Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a burglary at a home in Poole.

Between around 4.30pm and 10pm on Saturday 10 February 2024 entry was gained to an address in Esmonde Way and a number of items of jewellery were stolen. These included gold bangles, gold chains with lockets, golden earrings, two golden wedding rings, two silver anklets and two silver wrist chains.

Police Constable Jamie Conway, of Poole police, said: “This jewellery was of great sentimental value to the victims and we are conducting a number of enquiries to try and identify who is responsible for this burglary.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or has any other information that might assist our investigation, to please contact us.

“I would also urge residents with home CCTV systems or doorbell cameras, as well as motorist with dashcam who were in the area, to please review their footage during the time period to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55240021595. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
