Steve Taylor, President of the Westbourne Trader’s Association (WTA) met with Ian Girling, CEO of Dorset Chamber of Commerce this week to discuss Westbourne’s ambitious plans for the future.

Steve shared the vision for Westbourne with Ian and they discussed and explored how the WTA could build a constructive working relationship with the Chamber.

Steve said, “Working together in partnership with other business organisations must be a key objective if we are to have a strong and representative voice with local and national government. Our organisations all have a part to play in developing business locally and in Dorset.”

Ian added, “It was encouraging to hear the plans Westbourne Traders Association has to develop the business opportunities for its members and the district as a whole, along with its objective to build links with other business organisations in the county. Building partnerships is a core strategy for the Dorset Chamber as we encourage affiliation from other business organisations in the county.”
