About 7 or 8 years ago a small group of us discovered that nothing was happening in Weymouth for gay and bi guys. So we made it happen! Just meeting informally once a week in a corner of a pub… and we still do today, but now TWICE a week! OK, different pubs, and sometimes 30 plus of us, not just the 4 or 5 originals of years ago. We just like to chat, have a drink, or meal, and meet new guys…. we found that other guys liked the same. Perhaps the very informal and friendly nature of the group, without a committee, or commitment helped to make it work well. Why TWICE a week? You guys wanted more!
“Dorset Knobs” was our old nick name, but we have metamorphosed into becoming “Weymouth Gay Group”.
